What are EMFs?

Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs) refer to the invisible waves of energy, radiating from almost every electrically powered device, cable and appliance you can think of.  This form of radiation is produced by the presence of voltage combined with an electric current, which will then produce a magnetic field at a set frequency.  It is that frequency value, in which it is defined across a very large spectrum.

Non-ionizing EMF’s represent one of the most common and fastest growing environmental influence on humans, with levels of exposure to only increase as technology continues to consume us. These types are different to naturally occurring EMFs, which you can read more about in this post.

Many studies suggest that this prolonged exposure can lead to neurological disorders, reproductive issues and cancers. As well as more shorter-term effects, including headaches, trouble sleeping, anxiety, and depression.

Whilst eliminating any exposure to EMF’s in your daily life is very difficult to do, you can certainly significantly reduce it. That is where we can help! Book a comprehensive home assessment now.
